The Diocese of Virginia has a multitude of outreach and inreach programs covering local to international concerns and interests. These programs are supported by the churches and generous individuals within the Diocese.

When the Diocese meets each year at Annual Council, these programs are reviewed and discussed. The 215th Annual Diocesan Council took place in January 2010, and was highlighted by the investiture of the Rt. Rev. Shannon Johnston as bishop of Virginia. Read his pastoral address here.
