Sharing Christ's Love with the World

Worship is the core at Church of Our Saviour. Steeped in rich Anglican tradition, our services are sacramental and eucharistic - inclusive and open to everyone seeking to share in worship with other Christians. We are an engaged family of believers and seekers with a strong sense of community.

Our parish consists of a wide variety of people at various ages and stages of life. We come together in many ways to praise God, share our stories, and seek to become more engaged Christians. Opportunities for spiritual growth meet individuals where they are in their life. Worship services are geared to suit differing spiritual needs - there are quiet, contemplative services, vibrant family eucharists, and rich services alive with music. Bible studies, informational sessions on the Episcopal Church and Anglican Communion, prayer and book discussion groups provide spiritual nourishment on various levels. Families and children find fun and fellowship as they share their lives together through parenting discussions and purposeful learning. All offer opportunities to grow together in Christ.

We find ways to share the love of Jesus Christ and help bring others to Him through our interactions with each other. Social life at COOS supports our common life together as a parish. Intimate lunches, parish wide picnics, family pool parties, bountiful brunches, and candlelit receptions are just some of the examples of fellowship opportunities. We grow together as we make new acquaintances and enrich existing friendships.

Opportunities for sharing Christ’s love with the world are many, and those seeking to do so often find talents and gifts of which they were unaware. Active outreach and pastoral ministries care for parishioners and the larger community in a myriad of ways. Ministry opportunities are available to seniors, families, and single adults - as well as youth and children. We unite in service to others as we celebrate our life together as a parish seeking to do God's will.
